Funam­bules Médias is an orga­ni­za­tion ded­i­cat­ed to the pro­duc­tion, train­ing, and dis­sem­i­na­tion of social­ly and polit­i­cal­ly engaged documentaries.

We act as a pro­gram­mer, pro­duc­er of an out­door doc­u­men­tary film fes­ti­val, year-round dis­trib­u­tor, and con­tent provider. With Ciné­ma à la carte, we aim to make our works avail­able to cin­e­mas, film clubs, edu­ca­tion­al insti­tu­tions, and com­mu­ni­ty organizations.

WHAT IS CINÉMA À LA CARTE?

Ciné­ma à la carte is a curat­ed cat­a­log of Que­bec and inter­na­tion­al doc­u­men­tary films, both fea­ture-length and short, focus­ing on social, polit­i­cal, and envi­ron­men­tal issues. Drawn from pre­vi­ous pro­gram­ming by Funam­bules Médias, the cat­a­log is reg­u­lar­ly updat­ed with rel­e­vant new releas­es. All film rights have been pre-nego­ti­at­ed, ensur­ing an effi­cient, sin­gle-con­tact ser­vice. For inter­na­tion­al films, Funam­bules Médias holds Cana­di­an dis­tri­b­u­tion rights, grant­i­ng screen­ing per­mis­sions to venues across the country.

Ciné­ma à la carte also offers tai­lored tech­ni­cal ser­vices to help orga­nize indoor and out­door screen­ings. Addi­tion­al­ly, we pro­vide ani­ma­tion ser­vices with guest speak­ers and a facil­i­ta­tor to enrich your events.
