Simon Larochelle is a Montreal-based documentary filmmaker. He first studied political science and then pursued a major in Film Production at Mel Hoppenhein School of Cinema. Simon’s background in social science influences his vision of cinema. In his work, he likes to explore political matters with his impious style and unapologetic sense of humour. He prioritizes an intimate approach to his subjects and seeks to render a critical take on society.
