Thomas Lacoste was born in Bordeaux in 1972. He is a filmmaker, publisher and essayist. For over 25 years, he has worked to connect different disciplines and schools of critical thought and contemporary creation around the world. Since 2007, he has directed eight feature films and over one hundred and fifty film-interviews. In 2012, his body of work was brought together in a DVD box set, Penser critique, Kit de survie éthique et politique pour situations de crise(s), gathering 47 of his film-interviews, published by Éditions Montparnasse, alongside a retrospective of his ciné-frontières feature films at the Reflet Médicis cinema (Paris).
