Annie is a film edi­tor and direc­tor who has been based in Mon­tre­al for over twen­ty years. With a back­ground in psy­chol­o­gy and film direct­ing from ESRA Paris, she brings a sen­si­tive and social­ly engaged per­spec­tive to her work in inde­pen­dent cin­e­ma. She has col­lab­o­rat­ed on numer­ous doc­u­men­taries and fic­tion series, includ­ing Dis­trict 31, L’échappée, and Con­tre-offre, for pro­duc­tion com­pa­nies such as Les Films de l’Autre, Infor­mA­c­tion, and Amal­ga. Along­side her edit­ing work, she devel­ops her own cre­ative projects, includ­ing Steam­punk Con­nec­tion (Fan­ta­sia 2019), Place de l’élégance, Le voy­age du sol­dat, and the doc­u­men­tary series Print time, focused on men­tal health and immi­gra­tion. Most recent­ly, she direct­ed and edit­ed Voir — Juger — Agir : L’his­toire de la JOC au Québec with Funam­bules Médias, a film that bridges mil­i­tant mem­o­ry and social commitment.
