Olivi­er Dubuquoy is a film­mak­er, geo­g­ra­ph­er and envi­ron­men­tal activist. He is known for his com­mit­ment to defend­ing the ocean and the cli­mate. Rais­ing the alarm about red mud pol­lu­tion in the Mediter­ranean, he co-direct­ed the doc­u­men­tary film Zone Rouge (2016), and won a spe­cial jury men­tion at FIGRA 2017. In 2019, lanète Tha­las­sa broad­casts Océan nais­sance d’une Nation, a doc­u­men­tary film ded­i­cat­ed to Olivi­er Dubuquoy’s actions to make the Ocean a com­mon ground. In 2022 he com­pletes his doc­u­men­tary film Irré­ductibles, a sto­ry of com­mit­ment and vic­to­ri­ous envi­ron­men­tal­ist struggles.
