Tax Me If You Can Tour with Alain Deneault

Start­ing on Sep­tem­ber 22, the doc­u­men­tary film Tax Me If You Can, an inves­ti­ga­tion unveil­ing the mech­a­nisms of tax havens, will begin its tour across Que­bec. This film pro­vides an in-depth analy­sis of tax eva­sion, allow­ing the wealth­i­est to hide their for­tunes, often to the detri­ment of ordi­nary citizens.

Meet the philoso­pher Alain Deneault: Each screen­ing will be fol­lowed by a dis­cus­sion with philoso­pher Alain Deneault, author of crit­i­cal essays on top­ics such as man­age­r­i­al ide­ol­o­gy, the sov­er­eign­ty of pri­vate pow­ers, and the his­to­ry of the pol­y­se­mous notion of econ­o­my. He will pro­vide unique insights into the issues addressed in the film, fos­ter­ing col­lec­tive reflec­tion on tax jus­tice and social responsibility.
