Thomas Lacoste

Thomas Lacoste was born in Bor­deaux in 1972. He is a film­mak­er, pub­lish­er and essay­ist. For over 25 years, he has worked to con­nect dif­fer­ent dis­ci­plines and schools of crit­i­cal thought and con­tem­po­rary cre­ation around the world. Since 2007, he has direct­ed eight fea­ture films and over one hun­dred and fifty film-inter­views. In 2012, his body of work was brought togeth­er in a DVD box set, Penser cri­tique, Kit de survie éthique et poli­tique pour sit­u­a­tions de crise(s), gath­er­ing 47 of his film-inter­views, pub­lished by Édi­tions Mont­par­nasse, along­side a ret­ro­spec­tive of his ciné-fron­tières fea­ture films at the Reflet Médi­cis cin­e­ma (Paris).
